about
Lina Hédo (b. 1999) is a painter and visual artist from Luxembourg. She studied Fine Arts at University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (FR).
Lina’s work focuses on the human figure and its emotions. Her work often explores the motif of the embrace, symbolizing human connection and tenderness The figures she portrays are often ungendered and anonymous, inviting viewers to their own interpretations. Using bold colors and dynamic brushstrokes, she creates a balance between figuration and abstraction, emphasizing expression over perfection.
Her approach has evolved from realism to a more expressive style, where the figures gradually dissolve into abstract forms. Embracing intuition and spontaneity in her creative process, her work is a form of self-expression reflecting the complexity of the human experience.
